Accra based Youth Employment Accelerator, Africa Internship Academy focusing on training and matching graduates into internships and jobs, has unveiled a new name, a new logo and a new website as part of an extensive rebranding initiative.
The service is now known as Africa Skills Hub. The rebranding initiative coincided with recent changes to the company’s internal structure and processes as well as the introduction of the Skills Badge Certification.
The rebrand has provided a platform to evolve the service offerings, to be a true full-service, innovative, employment accelerator, and business incubator for students and graduates in Africa.
“This rename and rebrand represent a significant step in the company’s evolution. We are redefining who we are, driving change and shaping the future of the youth employment and skills training industry,” said Emmanuel Leslie Addae, Co-Founder and Head of Operations.
“Our brand ethos has always been built on trust, credibility and industry knowledge – that’s what’s kept our business running seamlessly for the past four years. We pride ourselves on our relationships and our ability to help, support and connect youth graduates to opportunities in Africa.”
The new name and logo was developed through a collaborative process and reflects the company’s passion for giving every youth the opportunity to reach their full potential. The name also aligns with the company’s mission; to support and grow the potential of students, graduates and the companies.
The brightening bulb in the Africa Map strategically resembles the ideas and talents of young people in Africa, the colors used to represent power and innovations.
The new website will offer a warm and engaging design, easy to use navigation optimized perfectly for either desktop, mobile or tablet use. Access to essential information about services, assessments, programs, initiatives and is intuitive and quick. The website will also boast a blog and resource center, amongst other helpful content.
