Womenovate is an economic empowerment initiative for women and young girls by Africa Skills Hub. Our mission is to empower one(1) million young women and girls across Africa through our various women’s focused programs in the next 10 years (2020 -2030).






Womenovate Programs by Africa Skills Hub will be delivered along with three (3) main ways

  • Supporting Women and Young Girls to sustainble livelihoods and enterpreneurship.

  • Providing training, mentorship and coaching to young women on career pathways opportunities.

  • Participative Women-Lead Dialogue to explore the root causes of Gender Equality which directly impact women's participation in economic activities.

Data Analytics Training for Women


Free Introduction to Data Analytics Training for Women between the ages of 18-35 years. It is our vision to empower 1000 women for the Data Analytics Job Market. Anyone interested must have access to a laptop and also be willing to devote 4 Saturdays in a month for the training.

ForumSyd Project


ForumSyd Project aims at Empowering vulnerable women and youth to secure their economic well-being. Women-owned businesses in Ghana face greater barriers in accessing public services due to the underrepresentation of women in public service. Putting economic resources in women’s hands is the best way to accelerate development and sustainably reduce poverty. We’re collaborating with Social Enterprise Ghana to #EmpowerEqualizeEngage youth and women across Ghana. We will empower young people and women to advocate for their rights and freedoms so that they can access services, information, and skills that will support them to create sustainable livelihoods.

UN Women Africa Young Women’s Regional Consultation on Beijing +25


The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action of 1995 is the most ambitious road map for the empowerment of women and girls everywhere. Africa Dialogues Women - International Women’s Day 2018


Using our tedx talk style - Africa Dialogues, we curated an international women’s day event in partnership with the Canadian High Commission Ghana. The program outcome was to celebrate progress made in women’s political participation in Ghana, encourage young women to speak up in politics and explore how we can do more to address barriers to women’s participation in politics.

Social Thursday Women Project


In the wake of creating awareness and promoting social enterprises in Ghana. British Council Ghana was a major player in advocating and campaigning for social entrepreneurship. As project implementers, we designed SOCIAL THURSDAY WOMEN as a way of promoting and encouraging young-women lead enterprises through market exhibitions and show fairs.

Womenomics Project


As an innovative women’s mentoring approach, womenomics was designed to serve as a bridge in linking corporate or world of work to young girls. With funding from Netherlands Embassy Ghana, the project brought together young girls across Accra to engage and meet up with women mentors and concluded with transformational empowerment dialogues .
